Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1Drusilla goes into a rant, all Diana can do is sit and watch.
Drusilla: U cant akshully be dat stoopid!
Drusilla: U noh Max wuz investigatin La Liga. U noh hiz deth wuz not natcherl cozzes.
Drusilla: An sumbuddy got into hiz filez, an nohs whuts goin down.

Diana suddenly sees the light.
Diana: And .. that's why you killed him?
Drusilla: Of coars dats why I killed him!
Drusilla: Dat fat oaf wuz gonna ruin evrythin!

Diana can't resist asking more questions.
Diana: Ruin what, exactly? What are The League and the Intergalactic Council planning?
Drusilla: Oh-ho! Ur not as ignornt az u pretend!
Drusilla: If u wanna keep ur face wher it iz, u better start talkin.

Suddenly, a zinger-blast hits Drusilla from behind, stunning her.
SFX: ZING!!
Drusilla: Gah!

Diana in her chair, Drusilla on the floor in front of her, the Mysterious Stranger from the mall steps out of the shadows.
Diana: Oh, great. What are you supposed to be?
Stranger: Dats a funny way uv sayin thanx.

The Stranger pulls back his hood, and reveals his true face – it's John Gómez.
Diana: John Gómez?
Gómez: Obviously.
