BHP Adds Digital Distribution [ Sep 29, 2015 ]

Escape From Terra, Volume 1.1 -

That's right, Big Head Press has signed up with DriveThru Comics to begin distributing high quality digital copies of stories from the BHP catalog. Delivered as a 150 pixels per inch (ppi) PDF file, each digital book provides you a much higher resolution story viewing experience, whether on your smartphone, tablet or computer monitor.

(Not to mention, of course, you can keep the story on your own gadget(s) for convenient off-line viewing.)

Over the coming weeks and months, we will be releasing a new digital book each week. The first title of our catalog we are making available is the very first Escape From Terra story, World Ceres. Originally the leading story in the volume 1 print edition, we are making it available as a standalone hi-rez digital volume 1.1 at the very low price of $3.25(US). Each week, we will be offering more Escape From Terra stories in similarly sized hi-rez digital books until we complete the series.

So, get your DriveThru Comics account today and stand by for more digital book announcements!

The Transcript For This Page

Panel 1
Another busy concourse – this one with a very high ceiling, and more plants. Nicole is in the lead, walking excitedly, as Seamus struggles to keep up in his powered chair.
Seamus: Slow down, Nicole, I can't keep your pace.
Nicole: We're 5 minutes late! Can't that buggy go faster?
Panel 2
Nicole pauses for Seamus to catch up. Seamus is looking cranky, Nicole rolls her eyes.
Seamus: And if this buggy breaks down from over-taxing, are you ready to drag me around this station?
Nicole: I'm sure I can find a perambulator to fit you.
Panel 3
Medium close-up on Nicole, turning happily towards the voice coming from OP right.
Voice: Perambulator? Nicole, is there something you haven't told me?
Panel 4
Medium shot of Nicole's mom, Vanessa Oresme. She is of Central African descent, physically fit, high cheek-bones, arched eybrows, may look familiar.
Nicole (OP): MOM!
Vanessa: Darling! You brought your walrus!
