Quantum Vibe

A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Quantum Vibe: Château Périlleux Now On Sale! [ Oct 31, 2019 ]

Quantum Vibe: Château Périlleux, by Scott Bieser now on sale direct from Big Head Press.

How does a society without a formal government deal with crime and criminal conspiracies? In the far-future space-city known as Bubbleopolis, they do it with a mixture of wit, grit, and a culture based on rolling up one's sleeves and doing what must be done. Diana Martelli, a recent arrival, likes to call it compassionate individualism.

Big Head Press announces the release of the latest graphic novel in the QUANTUM VIBE series: Château Périlleux, in which young Diana is tasked with finding out who killed a supposedly un-killable android -- and uncovers a conspiracy which shakes the very foundations of the city and its culture.

Available now direct from Big Head Press.

The Transcript For This Page

Seamus finally explained to Nicole, in strictest confidence, the purpose of their efforts: humankind was effectively stranded in the solar system, because dark matter made deep space harder to navigate than anyone imagined.

His solution: breech the barrier between alternative quantum universes. His theory of 'Quantum Vibremonics' offered access to limitless worlds, most of them uninhabited.

Meanwhile, on Luna, Bobinardi has hired a special operative, known as Mr. Graves. Mr. Graves specializes in doing things you don't want people to know about. Bobinardi wants him to squeeze out of Seamus the purpose of his secret project.

Graves is man of many guises and disguises, using advanced holography to change his appearance almost at will. He seems to have a fascination with presidents of the old United States of America.

On Luna, Seamus checked himself into a longevity clinic, leaving Nicole to fend for her own devices. She made friends with one of the locals, Rando Greene, and went partying. Sadly, Rando turned out to be in the employ of Mr. Graves, and planned to wrest her secrets by any means.

After a daring escape from Greene, Nicole fell prey to the Lunar police. Jailed on a trumped-up charge of cheez possession.

Her experiences in jail were harrowing and painful but she also made a good friend in Buford Beltran, a Beltape from Hygeia.

Transformed after his rejuvenation adjustment, Seamus was able to rescue Nicole with the help of attorney George Ringo, billionaire developer Hari Copperton, muckraking journalist Claud Southend, and S&H Resolutions agent Antigone Stone.
