A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Buford: So Seamus' secret t'eory was wrong after all?
Nicole: I don't know, but now we have a star-drive and no actual theory to explain it.

Nigel: T'e East-Terrans? He might as well be dead.
