Transcript For Strip 1326
Panel 1Diana is standing at the far end of a target lane, Monty next to her (his head just clears the counter before her, we'll see in another view he's standing on a box. She is aiming her zingerband with her fist oriented palm downward towards a paper target we can see in the far right foreground.
Monty: Now, to charge the weapon, press the top stud on the band.
Diana: Like so?
Monty: Correct. Now, to fire, clench your fist hard. The band will sense your tendons tensing and fire the weapon.

Closer 2-shot on Monty and Diana. Diana fires the weapon, her face screwed up in an anticipatory flinch.
SFX: ZRINGG!!!
Diana: Guh!

Looking downrange from Diana's POV. The target, about 5 meters distant, is unscathed.
Diana: I missed??
Monty: You flinched. It is only natural for a beginner.
Monty: Do not be afraid of your weapon. Control your breathing, and keep trying until you get the hang of it.
