Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Transcript For Strip 1412
Panel 1Alyss turns to leave the room, Santiago still slump-shouldered behind her.
Alyss: I'll arrange an apartment for you and your son.
Alyss: And also arrange for vocational training for you both.
Alyss: You will not have to look at my machine body again.
Panel 2
As Alyss goes out the door, Santiago looks alarmed at her final word.
Alyss: Of course, Bok doesn't have a problem with the new me.
Alyss: When he's a bit older, maybe I'll look him up. Teach him some things.
Panel 3
Alyss tromps down the hallway, under a cloud.
No dialog.
Panel 4
Back in the lounge, Alyss drops heavily into a chair as Hugo and Murphy look on.
SFX: FLUMP!
Panel 5
Alyss sits quietly, scowling, for a moment, as Hugo and Muphy look at each other, and toughtsend.
Hugo (thoughtsend): Should we ask her how things went with Santago?
Murphy (thoughtsend): I think it's rather obvious how things went.
Hugo (thouhtsend): What can we do?
Panel 6
Alyss breaks the silence.
Alyss: So, what have you two been up to these last few years?
Murphy and Hugo in unison: We're so glad you asked!
