Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1Hugo dashes into the ship's sick-bay/repairs room.
Hugo: Just my luck they hit Murphy first and not me.
Hugo: In her 'Berserker Mode' she could make short work of these brigands.

Hugo is remembering a conversation from long ago. We see him in cameo in the lower-left corner, the memory plays above and right. In the memory, Hugo is in his skivvies, sitting on a work-bench, speaking with Murphy (who has a different hair-style, like what she had at the end of Volume3).
Murphy: Be careful as you get used to this new body. You will be five times stronger, and 10 times faster than in your former meat-body.
Hugo: How about in Berserker Mode?

Hugo looks like a little boy that just had his favorite toy taken away. Murphy is scanning him with some gadget.
Murphy: You've a history of … anger management issues.
Murphy: To the tune of 125 million deaths, more or less.
Murphy: I think you're dangerous enough without a Berserker Mode.
