Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

The Not-Safe-Space 2 Kickstarter Campaign has ended successfully. Thanks to all who pledged!
Now we get to wait 2 weeks while Kickstarter transmits the funds, and Scott can order the books, and send surveys to backers to get current e-mail addresses for the .PDF versions and mailing addresses for the physical books.
All of this should show up in June.
Transcript For Strip 16
Panel 1Nicole, in her Bubb, in an airlock that's a bit darker than the one she left a few minutes before. A sigil on the wall reads 'EG1.' She's still shaky but recovering.
Electronic voice: Outer door sealed, lock pressurizing.
Panel 2
A door in the airlock ceiling opens, Nicole looks up at it.
Electronic voice: Please proceed through overhead door to reception area.
Nicole: Overhead -?
Panel 3
Nicole in her Bubb enters another room about 5 meters square. In the corner we see an airlock door in the floor through which she has egressed. Nicole is looking around with a mixture of nervousness and curiosity. The walls are covered in a pattern of large, circular dimples.
Electronic voice: Welcome to Castle Hodge-Podge. Please dismount your Bubb and approach the inner door.
Panel 4A
Split panel – having dismounted, Nicole stands before a rectangular doorway. There is no indication of a button or means of opening it.
Nicole: Uh – hello?
Panel 4B
The door whooshes upwards. We see Nicole through the doorway, and she's taken aback by the sudden movement.
Nicole: {GASP!}

Nicole: .. um ...

Seamus turns around and motions Nicole to follow him.
Seamus: I get that rather a lot.
Seamus: Please come with me.
