A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1Eithne is squatting near a bulkhead which has had a panel removed. She's doing something with the components inside the bulkhead. There's a small toolkit on the deck next to her
Eithne (thought): While I'm waiting for those turpsiators I might as well see how I can improve our shield efficiency.
Eithne (thought): The transtator coupling should be in here somewhere ...

Now she's on her back, her head and shoulders inserted into the bulkhead space, working, struggling.
Eithne: ENH! Damn thing's stuck!
Eithne: C'mon, TURN!
Eithne: I can't get leverage. Who designed this stupid fucking arrangement, anyway?

Goon: Probably some neck-bearded geek from Frolix XIII.
