Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

The Not-Safe-Space 2 Kickstarter Campaign has ended successfully. Thanks to all who pledged!
Now we get to wait 2 weeks while Kickstarter transmits the funds, and Scott can order the books, and send surveys to backers to get current e-mail addresses for the .PDF versions and mailing addresses for the physical books.
All of this should show up in June.
Transcript For Strip 1659
Panel 1Eithne is wrapping an ace bandage around her damaged foot as Ralf looks on.
Ralf: You said your nano-bots ...
Eithne: … Can work faster with my foot bound and immobilized.
Eithne: I've ordered the boat to fabricate a crutch. Will you fetch it for me?
Panel 2
Ralf is returning to the cockpit with a crutch for Eithne.
Ralf: I'll never get over how you can run machinery with your brain.
Eithne: With my cortical implant. Maybe sometime when I have access to better equipment I can make one for you.
Panel 3
Ralf makes a sour face. Eithne tests the crutch by standing with it.
Ralf: Thanks but no thanks. I don't like anyone messing with my brain-meats.
Eithne: I'll bet your brain-meats can handle anything I could throw at them. But, as you wish.
