Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

UPDATE: There has been some strange glitch in the Kickstarter launch, so Scott is cancelling the campaign temporarily and will re-start as soon the cause of the problem can be determined and corrected.

Panel 1Present-Murphy narrates from a cameo. Ralf and Eithne are at their stations in the cock-pit.
Murphy: The next 572 kiloseconds went by quickly for Eithne and Ralf, as they busily worked to make their modifications to the cruiser. Finally:
Ralf: All systems are at full-ready.
Eithne: Excellent. Engaging thrusters now ...
Panel 2A
Same shot, now the room is dark, with only a few lights showing.
Eithne (in Portanglish): Fijo da puta!
Panel 2B
A voice blares from their comm speakers. Ralf and Eithne express shock.
Voice: This is the C.S.S. Justice! We have rendered your stolen craft inoperable!
Voice: Stand down and prepare to be boarded!
Panel 3
The ship's lights come back on and Eithne looks like she's concentrating hard.
Ralf: We're … wait! We have control back? How ...
Eithne: I'll be damned if I let those arse-faces capture me again.

Exterior view of the Ha'arokk racing through the bay.
Ralf: Careful! You nearly hit that pylon!
Eithne: Don't distract me right now, Ralf.
Eithne: I've got one more stunt to pull off.
Panel 5
As the Ha'arokk approaches the exit, they see the Community starship outside waiting for them.
Ralf: Holy Kramp!
Eithne: Don't stress.
Panel 6
The Ha'arokk streaks past the C.S.S. Justice as other ships nearby begin firing on it.
Eithne (from Ha'arokk): I traced back their signal and powered them down.
Eithne: Our friends will take care of them for us.
