Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
Juan has taken Diana by the hand and is leading her into the back office. She resists a little, but is too fucked up to stop him.
Juan: Better come in the back with me.
Diana: Wait … no … I'm not … this isn't … I never said ...
Juan: It's not what you're probably thinking, Diana.
Panel 2
Diana has flopped into Juan's chair. He is holding something that looks like a stick of chewing gum, offering it to her.
Juan: Here, chew on this for a few minutes. It will clear your head.
Diana: Clear … my head? This better not … uh … knock me …
Diana: What'sda queshin?
Panel 3
Diana is chewing on the 'gum.' Her eyes are almost back to normal. Her hair stays messed, though.
Juan: Feeling better?
Diana: Yeah … {chew} {chew} I am, thanks.
Diana: {smack}I owe you an {chew} apology, for doubting your motives just now. {chew}
Panel 4
Juan is sitting on the corner of his desk, smiling sardonically at Diana, who is looking a bit rueful.
Juan: Apology accepted.
Juan: Now we should be able to have a productive conversation.
Juan: But first, can I have my chair back?
