Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1Vanessa walks up to the table where Seamus is seated, eating an ice-cream concoction.
Seamus: So I gather you two have solved the problems of the day.
Vanessa: Almost.

Vanessa leans forward and slaps Seamus across the face.
SFX: SWACK!

Seamus holds a hand to his stinging cheek, looking as surprised as he is hurt.
Seamus: What was that ...
Vanessa: That was for inducing my daughter to risk her life flying under the Sun's corona.

Seamus glares at Vanessa, who is now quietly taking her seat.
Seamus: That exercise was indispensable so far as my project is concerned.
Seamus: And it has made Nicole a celebrity and quite wealthy for her tender years.
Vanessa: Just so you know, I keep tabs on Nicole too.
