A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Transcript For Strip 1844
Panel 1Dong and co. have exited the flyer, and Dong is introducing Diana to The Mechanic.
Dong: I am pleased to introduce my friend, Diana Martelli.
Mechanic: I gather you're here because you recently, ah, acquired this flyer and need it cleaned up.
Diana: We didn't steal it, it's a loaner. Or a gift. I'm not certain.
Panel 2
Dong, Mechanic, and Diana. In the background, we can see someone directing a scanning device in their direction.
Dong: I can personally vouch for Diana's integrity.
Dong: Our own scan revealed three trackers and four recording devices within the flyer.
Mechanic: I gather whoever loaned this to you wants to make sure he gets it back?

Dong, Mechanic and Diana, but now the person with the scanner is standing next to Mechanic. She glances over at him.
Dong: Perhaps. But we do not wish to be tracked, so we need everything but one tracker removed, and that one re-programmed so it reports to Diana and not the previous owner.
Mechanic: Excuse me a moment … what's that?

Suddenly, the Mechanic and her minions all have weapons pointed at our heroes.
Mechanic: Gyeon-Hoon, I know betrayal is frequent in this business but I never thought it of you.
Dong and Diana in unison: WHAT??
