Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.
Kickstarter successful and closed [ May 19, 2026 ]
The Kickstarter campaign for Not-Safe.Space Chapter 3 concluded successfully on April 21, and Scott extended the time allowed for late pledges until May 19.
Books have been ordered from the printer and Scott will be spending the next week or so setting up and sending the PDF files to those who asked for them.
(There are still six of you who have not responded to the survey asking for e-mail and snail-mail addresses, he'll do the best he can.)

Panel 1Areum, Diana, and Bouissou at the same parlor table.
Diana: Ah, thanks, but we just ate.
Diana: I'm doing research for a documentary on unsolved murders, in this case, the gynoid known as Hayami.
Diana: She worked for Gianturco. Did you know her?
Panel 2
Diana is taken aback by Bouissou's response. He has a large scoop of ice cream balanced on his spoon.
Bouissou: I am glad to be able to meet you in person, Senhora Martelli.
Bouissou: I viewed your confrontation with Smith & Holder Chief Inspector Cooper on Tchaikovski's feed.
Bouissou: It was very impressive how you stood up to him. Yes, very impressive.

Bouissou is pointing the now-empty spoon at Diana. There's a dribble of ice cream from the corner of his mouth.
Caption: If I hadn't seen how he swallowed that whole scoop of ice-cream in one gulp I wouldn't have believed it.
Bouissou: But I suspect your differences with Smith & Holder pre-date the kidnapping of your partner, eh?

Now Diana is really shocked at Bouissou's remarks.
Bouissou: We know that Smith & Holder's employee database was hacked recently.
Buoissou: And not long afterward, Alyss Roaz of all people canceled her contract with them.
Bouissou: You wouldn't happen to know anything about this, would you?
