Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.
Kickstarter Success! [ May 13, 2025 ]
The Not-Safe-Space 2 Kickstarter Campaign has ended successfully. Thanks to all who pledged!
Now we get to wait 2 weeks while Kickstarter transmits the funds, and Scott can order the books, and send surveys to backers to get current e-mail addresses for the .PDF versions and mailing addresses for the physical books.
Panel 1
Cut scene 1: Diana and Areum converse with one of a small group of seedy-looking androids hanging out in front of a seedy-looking establishment. One of them looks like the fellow in strip 042.
Caption: Unfortunately, each subject I spoke with had an alibi.
Subject android 1: On the night in question I was on Tralfamadore helping repair harvester engines.
Panel 2
Cut scene 2: Diana and Areum are in an industrial area talking with Subject 2, who looks like our Robbie but wearing coveralls.
Subject android 2: I remember that week – we had a rush order and I had to pull quadruple shifts. I was here for 40 hours straight through.
Panel 3
Split panel, just showing one Robbie variant in each half.
Subject android 3: I was down at Podkayne Robotics for my 300 megasecond overhaul.
Subject android 4: There was a power disruption at NuRejuv and I was part of the team sent to investigate it.
Panel 4
At a skibola alley, there's a team sporting team shirts and the fifth subject android is wearing one. (A skibola alley looks like a bowling alley but with large 'skee-bol' targets at the ends of the lanes, which are a bit shorter.)
Caption: And the same answer to my other question:
Subject android 5: We'd just won a season tournament and went out celebrating together.
Android 5: And no, I didn't know this Hayami. It's a shame, she looked lovely in the vids.
