Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
Nicole sitting dazed and a bit disheveled in her expanded bubble. She is jammed on all sides by other people in their bubbles.
Nicole: Urnn.. No, Mom, I'm all right, I'm in my Bubb. We've had a jammup.
Panel 2
POV inside Nicole's Bubb, looking over her shoulder. All we can see are other people in their Bubbs, jammed against Nicole's. With her right hand she moves her fingers around in front of her and activates a holographic display grid.
Nicole: Ida know, some cock-up along my route. This shuck is happening more and more, seems like.
Panel 3
Closer-up on the holoscreen in front of Nicole. It shows a traffic-flow diagram of Nicole's route through 'Malfunction-Junction' at the end of the Architrain. There's an obvious bright clog in the dots indicating the traffic-jam Nicole presently inhabits.
Nicole: Yeah, it's another Malfunction-Junction Malfunction.
Panel 4
A gateway from one part of Malfunction-Junction to the next. It was originally built as a series of airlocks for cargo deliveries but now is a junction between two major districts of the City. The superstructure seems older, and more constricted, and the swarm of commuters in their Bubbs are jammed together as they pass through one particularly narrow orifice.
Nicole (from somewhere in the swarm of Bubbs): Yes, Mom, I remember you told me to go take the Bloid Throughway but that takes me twice as far!
