Dark plans fall like thunderbolts.
Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.
Kickstarter successful and closed [ May 19, 2026 ]
The Kickstarter campaign for Not-Safe.Space Chapter 3 concluded successfully on April 21, and Scott extended the time allowed for late pledges until May 19.

(There are still six of you who have not responded to the survey asking for e-mail and snail-mail addresses, he'll do the best he can.)
Panel 1
Stern stands at attention before Campos. We see the other officer in the near background.
Stern: Yes, Capitã Campos?
Campos: Coronel Glass here has some questions for you.
Stern: Questions?
Panel 2
Coronel Glass steps forward. He has a steely gaze, and looks like he's controlling anger.
Glass: We don't want to reveal this yet, but the failure was with PS-187.
Glass: That is your station, c orrect?
Stern: Er, yes sir, it is. But I don't understand ...
Panel 3
Focus on Glass
Glass: The impactor passed within a million klicks of PS-187.
Glass: Which is the ONLY station which could have seen it quickly enough, due to speed of light limitations, in order to relay a timely warning via q-wave.
Glass: And yet it failed to do so. Can you tell us why?
Panel 4
Focus on Stern, eyes wide, mouth agape, stunned.
Stern: I … wha?
Glass: Playing stupid won't get you out of this, Stern.
