Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.
Kickstarter successful and closed [ May 19, 2026 ]
The Kickstarter campaign for Not-Safe.Space Chapter 3 concluded successfully on April 21, and Scott extended the time allowed for late pledges until May 19.
Books have been ordered from the printer and Scott will be spending the next week or so setting up and sending the PDF files to those who asked for them.
(There are still six of you who have not responded to the survey asking for e-mail and snail-mail addresses, he'll do the best he can.)

Alyss: Well, my friends, how should we deal with this doof?
Lorelei: Stall, see what he really has.
Enrique: Yes, stall.
Jorge: Tell him to fork off.
Kofi: Stall but don't concede anything.
Panel 2
Looking downward past Alyss toward Mordecai.
Alyss: Ambassador, the Intergalactic Council is of course free as anyone to set up an interest section in the city, at your own expense.
Alyss: You may call it an 'embassy' if you like but we can't extend any of the conventional privileges such as 'diplomatic immunity.' Your people will be subject to the same laws as anyone here.

Focus on Kang, Sheldon and Sergei.
Alyss (OP): If you have a more detailed proposal for communications transmit them to Sergio Cooper.
Alyss: He, General Min-Cheng and Sabio Rico will review them and get back to you
Panel 4
One last look at Mordecai, with some of the guards behind him. It's his turn to look stone-faced.
Alyss (OP): You are welcome to visit us again as you feel the need, Ambassador.
Alyss (OP): Although you might do it without the silly pomp and circumstance next time.
