A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

The privacy shield to the booth has gone, and Alyss is standing in the threshold, turned toward Diana who remains seated.
Alyss: It's been good to see you but I really have a tonne of things to do.
Alyss: But stay if you like and order whatever you want to eat, if you're hungry. My treat.
Diana: Hey, thanks! See you soon I hope.
Panel 2
Alyss is walking away from the booth, her bodyguards follow. She has a troubled look on her face.
Alyss: Bon appetit.
Panel 3
Approaching the restaurant's Deslocador, Alyss has a palm to her ear as she makes a telecall.
Alyss: Oi, Sergio! Got a minute?
Sergio (op, electronic): For you, Alyss, always.
Alyss: How sweet. Guess who I met with just now.
Panel 4
Sergio Cooper appears in a split panel. Alyss looks a bit surprised by his answer.
Sergio: Hmmm. Diana Martelli?
Alyss: Wha … how did you know?
Sergio: Hey, if I reveal my methods, how can I maintain my reputation as a genius?
