A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1Albert is standing again. Sergio stands facing him, putting a finger to his left temple.
Alberto: So now you need me to help find her, yes?
Sergio: If you're not otherwise too busy. I'll send you what data-points we have for her.
Panel 2
Albert turns away, looking unhappy.
Albert: My son Billy is having his birthday tomorrow, but …
Albert: Any delays and the trail only grows colder. I'll start on this immediately.
Sergio: I'm sorry, Albert. But you're right.

Albert is exiting the office, Sergio follows him to the doorway.
Sergio: Anything new we learn on this end will get forwarded to you immediately.
Sergio: She's a wiley one, so be careful. But it's important you bring her back alive.

Albert turns to wave back at Sergio as he continues walking away. There's a cameo of Sergio looking worried in the lower corner.
Albert: No problem. I'll simply charm the bitch into surrendering peacefully.
Sergio: Ha-ha! Remember, Quirós is a professional con artist. Best take care she doesn't charm you.
Albert: Don't worry, I only ever got married once.
