A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1Looking past Alyss at the other four Pillars, all giving frosty gazes in Mordy's direction.
Alyss: I appreciate your candor but I think we prefer to maintain our 'roles,' as you put it.
Alyss: Now, do you have anything USEFUL to show us?

Mordy is reaching into a jacket pocket.
Mordy: Well, I wasn't supposed to do this, but ...
Mordy: … I think this would be a show of good faith ...

Angle to include Alyss and Mordy. He's holding forth something that looks like a 1-carat diamond mounted on a golden ring.
Mordy: This data crystal holds a trove of information about that we have concerning the 'Society for Justice.' Names and locations.
Mordy: I trust you will keep this information confidential, as it reveals sources and methods.
