Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1Lucy leads Li and Fred through the concourse
Lucy: So who’s the tall drink of water you came in with?
Li: You’ll find out when I tell your boss.
Panel 2
The trio are now in a small vestibule, opposite them a pair of heavy doors have opened wide, revealing the silhouette of an exomorphic character, hands braced on his hips.
Caption: Not long afterward:
Character: Jesús Fucking Hernandez! You smelly old fart, I didn’t think I’d see your sorry ass back here again.
Lucy: He’s my biographer.
Panel 3
The boss strides manacingly towards Li as Lucy steps aside.
Li: Ricky Herrero, you sweaty meat-sack, my farts smell like roses compared to you.
Ricky: THAT DOES IT
Panel 4
Ricky lifts Li up by the armpits, suddenly all smiles. Li likewise.
Ricky: Great to see ya, cuz! You look like hell, though.
Li: I’ve been too busy for a rejuve. Just one more job and I can take some time off.
Panel 5
Ricky and Li walk side-by side, arms around shoulders, into the back office. Lucy follows.
Ricky: So what’s the job?
Li: I’m tracking the person suspected of sabotaging Novo Paolo’s defenses when the Gran Raio hit.
Ricky: Ah, the elusive and deadly Zondra Quirós.
Panel 6
The inner office has four comfy chairs arrayed around a central display orb. The seat nearest to Ricky has a small table next to it. Ricky gestures for Li to take one of the other seats.
Ricky: Everyone in the known universe has seen that Bolivar Clark video of her killing Albert Montoya.
Li: Apparently now the elusive, deadly, and infamous Zondra Quirós.
