Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.
Kickstarter successful and closed [ May 19, 2026 ]
The Kickstarter campaign for Not-Safe.Space Chapter 3 concluded successfully on April 21, and Scott extended the time allowed for late pledges until May 19.
Books have been ordered from the printer and Scott will be spending the next week or so setting up and sending the PDF files to those who asked for them.
(There are still six of you who have not responded to the survey asking for e-mail and snail-mail addresses, he'll do the best he can.)

Transcript For Strip 2400
Panel 1Cut to: Inside Murray’s house. Small, modest, wooden. Murray is a 130-cm-tall, old man with white crazy hair. He and Li are leaning over a wooden table, examining a paper map.
Murray: So the inn is over in the southwest section, but the restaurant is about 200 meters north, next to the apothecary.
Li: Are there other places she might frequent?
Panel 2
We can see the form of cloaked William standing quietly in a corner near a window, behind Murray and Li
Murray: Depends on whether she’s looking to stay.
Murray: Rental agent’s, maybe the green-grocer’s.
Murray: But I’d put my money on the inn.
Panel 3
Li looks over at the window which shows a darkening outside.
Li: Well, it’s getting late, so we need to get going, and thanks.
Li: Let’s go, William.
Li: William?
Panel 4
William pops up on the other side of the panel, between Murray and Li, having exited his battle suit, with a half-eaten rat sticking out of this mouth.
Murray: !
William: Juffta moabebt.
Panel 5
Li facepalms while Murray challenges William
Murray: That better not be one of my laboratory rats!
William: Er … laboratory? Was that a rat cage?
William: I beg your pardon. I thought it was a snack dispensary.
Panel 6
William and Li are walking along a path towards the town. It’s almost dark.
Li: Three moebits seems pretty steep for a rat.
