Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.
Kickstarter successful and closed [ May 19, 2026 ]
The Kickstarter campaign for Not-Safe.Space Chapter 3 concluded successfully on April 21, and Scott extended the time allowed for late pledges until May 19.
Books have been ordered from the printer and Scott will be spending the next week or so setting up and sending the PDF files to those who asked for them.
(There are still six of you who have not responded to the survey asking for e-mail and snail-mail addresses, he'll do the best he can.)

Transcript For Strip 2495
FIRST PARTUpper Left part of parcel. Li and Nicole are setting the plasteel sections which will form the circular pier-and-beam foundation for the house.
Alyss continues narration: The next few days we focused on getting the house together.
Alyss: First we laid in the plumbing lines, and assembled the foundation.
Second PART
Upper Right part of parcel. Li and Nicole are setting the floor plates onto the foundation, gluing them together with glue guns. The kids hold the plates ready for their parents.
Alyss: Then we installed the floor-plates, glueing them into place.
Alyss: Atop the floor we installed the critical framework for the upper section.
THIRD PART
Lower Left part of parcel. Li is installing the kitchen plumbing.
Alyss: Li insisted on installing all the plumbing himself.
Alyss: He said it was relaxing work, but you wouldn’t know from all his cussing.
Alyss: The kids and I stayed in the cruiser, doing some math lessons.
FOURTH PART
Lower Right part of parcel. Everyone is on the upper floor. Li and Nicole are installing bedroom walls in that section.
Alyss: By the end of the fourth day we had the walls up. The next day we would pull the furniture in from the cargo container.
