Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.
Kickstarter successful and closed [ May 19, 2026 ]
The Kickstarter campaign for Not-Safe.Space Chapter 3 concluded successfully on April 21, and Scott extended the time allowed for late pledges until May 19.
Books have been ordered from the printer and Scott will be spending the next week or so setting up and sending the PDF files to those who asked for them.
(There are still six of you who have not responded to the survey asking for e-mail and snail-mail addresses, he'll do the best he can.)

Transcript For Strip 2541
Panel 1Nicole, Brielle, Li, and Stephanie are out-doors now. Stephanie is seated in a chair, a small device rests on a portable table near her.
Alyss narrates: We spent a while catching-up on family events in the home system, then gathered outside to test the solution Stephanie came up with.
Stephanie: I think I’ve got this worked-out but I think it wise to test this new process before we use it on someone’s home.
Panel 2
Looking past the people gathered to look at a wall-section mock-up, mounted on braces to hold it upright.
Stephanie: Observe: A wall section of the same construction and materials as the Weinstein house, except the interior drywall has been ‘painted’ to simulate mold infestation.
Panel 3
Near the wall mock-up is a sheet of drywall of the same size, laying flat on the ground.
Stephanie: Next to it, a section of drywall we’ll swap-in for the ‘invested’ section in that wall.
Stephanie: Okay, here goes ...
Panel 4
Looking past the family at the wall section and drywall. They glow softly
SFX: FOOMPOP! FOOMPOP!

Same view, now the drywall section is painted blue.
Brielle: It worked!
Li: Wait ...

The wall section collapses into a pile of dryall, outer wall siding, and plaster.
SFX: Flump
