A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Nicole and Alexandra.
Alexandra: No, but now Winona is missing since this morning.
Nicole: Do you think she was… taken?
Alexandra: I don’t know yet.

Alexandra.
Alexandra: From time to time she’s wandered off.
Alexandra: Exploring, she’d say. Drove us to distraction.
Alexandra: I thought I’d cured it going on long hikes with her.

Nicole and Alexandra.
Alexandra: We even went on a two-day trip to Juanita.
Nicole: Juanita! That’s where Candace lives.

They proceed onward, Winona glancing back in the direction of the Cruiser.
Alexandra: Candace?
Nicole: Warren is obsessed with her.
Alexandra: Oh. Winona is obsessed with Warren. -
