Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1In one of the ship's bars, Nicole sits at a corner table, looking miserable. A servo-bot brings her a cocktail.
Nicole (thought): I can't believe I said that to him! What's wrong with me?
Panel 2
A handsome young fella slides up to Nicole's table. Nicole sips her drink as she glances up at him.
Fella: Pardon me, miss, but you look familiar. Have we met?
Panel 3
Nicole snaps at the fella, who is completely taken aback by her ferocious put-down.
Nicole: Maybe, 'cause you remind me of every puffed-up, crat-brained lieberman I've ever known! Shuck off and die.
Panel 4
The fella is gone, Nicole rests her head in her hands, despondent.
Nicole: I'm not congenitally anti-social, am I?
