Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.
Kickstarter successful and closed [ May 19, 2026 ]
The Kickstarter campaign for Not-Safe.Space Chapter 3 concluded successfully on April 21, and Scott extended the time allowed for late pledges until May 19.
Books have been ordered from the printer and Scott will be spending the next week or so setting up and sending the PDF files to those who asked for them.
(There are still six of you who have not responded to the survey asking for e-mail and snail-mail addresses, he'll do the best he can.)

Transcript For Strip 431
Panel 1In the bathroom: Nicole is washing her face at the sink, while Buford leans against a wall nearby.
Buford: Don't be too harsh wit' Fentura -- you were having t'ose nightmares again.
Nicole: Damn, I was?
Panel 2
Buford and Nicole, has Nicole dries her face with a towel.
Buford: You seemed to sleep better wit' her beside you.
Buford: I'm sure she was just trying to help you.
Nicole: If you say so.
Panel 3
Buford and Nicole join Ventura in the main part of their room. They are now all projecting street clothes again.
Nicole: Seamus is going to have kittens when he sees our new, improved ball gowns.
Buford: I hope he doesn't haf a coronary -- how old is he?
Panel 4
The trio head out their door. Nicole has a friendly arm around Ventura's shoulder. Ventura looks dubious.
Nicole: C'mon, Robot Girl. Sorry I yelled at you.
Nicole: We're gonna knock 'em dead at the big party today.
Ventura: I hope we don't knock Dr. O'Murchadha dead.
