Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Tong's mother: I'm afraid our family is down to your Uncle Po, yourself, and Bo-Nu.
Panel 3

Tong's mother: You must promise me you will take care of your cousin, watch over him.
Tong: But mother! Bo-Nu is an imbecile!
Panel 4
Tong and his mother. Tong is looking bitter, but accepting of his charge.
Tong's mother: Medical science is advancing, Xie-Po. Perhaps some day they can ...
Tong: What was it Uncle Po always said? 'You cannot fix stupidity.'
