Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

UPDATE: There has been some strange glitch in the Kickstarter launch, so Scott is cancelling the campaign temporarily and will re-start as soon the cause of the problem can be determined and corrected.

Transcript For Strip 478
Panel 1Nicole blocks a roundhouse left from Tough 3. Meanwhile, Tough 1 is up and advancing.
Nicole (thought): Feek! I'm in over my head!
Nicole (toughtsend): BUFORD!!!
Panel 2
Cut to the recovery room, where Buford, now reclined on her back (with her anysuit pulled up and activated) viewing something on her borrowed Screen. She reacts with a jerk to Nicole's plea which comes in via the Beltape's earpiece.
Nicole (OP thoughtsend): HELP!!!
Buford: Nicole! What's wrong?
Panel 3
Buford leaps out of her bed, past a protesting nurse.
Nurse: You're not done yet!
Nicole (thoughtsend): I'M GETTING MY ARSE KICKED!
Panel 4
Buford barrels out the front door to the clinic, galloping on all fours like a rampaging gorilla.
Buford: Where are you?
Nicole (thoughtsend): Use your visor! Follow my signal!
Panel 5
Buford, now with her visor on, bounds up towards the roof of a low building
Buford: I'M COMING BABY!
Panel 6
Back in the alley, Nicole is judo-throwing Tough 1 while Tough 3 is leaping at her. Tough 2 isn't in the picture, but we can see Ventura huddled against a nearby wall.
Nicole: Ventura! Some help here?
Ventura: I --- I can't ...
Panel 7
Tough 2 has come up from behind Nicole, grabbed her with both hands on her waist, and lifted her over his head.
Nicole: Feek!
Tough 2: Takin' out the crash.
Panel 8
Tough 2 hurls Nicole into the debris pile at the back of the alley, where she lands with crash.
SFX: CRASH!
