Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

In a hotel room, Buford reclines on an adjustable bed, holding a glass of some lemonade. Nicole and Ventura are both seated on the bed next to the first one.
Buford: T'anks for finding a place with adjustable beds.
Nicole: It wasn't difficult, with my 'Plant. You really should consider getting one.
Panel 2
Buford takes a sip of her lemonade.
Buford: I haf considered it, and I prefer my brain uncontaminated.
Buford: So, what wacky hijinks do you haf in store for us now?
Panel 3
Two-shot of Nicole and Ventura. Nicole gazes at Ventura levelly, while removing her beret. Ventura looks apprehensive.
Nicole: Ventura suffers from a knowledge deficiency.
Nicole: I'm going to fix that, via direct 'Plant to brain interface.
Ventura: I'm not sure this is a good idea.
Panel 4
Closer two-shot: Nicole spreads the fingers of her left hand across the side of Ventura's face.
Nicole: My mind to your mind, your thoughts to my thoughts ...
Ventura: What are you doing?
Nicole: Just relax, this won't hurt a bit.
