Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1Seamus and Nicole have arrived at the Helio-Flyer, resting on its own wheeled landing gear. There is an open lift platform barely large enough to carry both Seamus and Nicole up to the cockpit, 5 meters above the hangar deck. They squeeze themselves onto it.
Seamus: It's not just the danger – this project is the culmination of 20 years' work, and the investment of most of my funds.

Seamus and Nicole ride up on the platform. Seamus looks pensive.
Seamus: I just wish I didn't have to ask someone else to do this job for me.
