Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.
Kickstarter successful and closed [ May 19, 2026 ]
The Kickstarter campaign for Not-Safe.Space Chapter 3 concluded successfully on April 21, and Scott extended the time allowed for late pledges until May 19.
Books have been ordered from the printer and Scott will be spending the next week or so setting up and sending the PDF files to those who asked for them.
(There are still six of you who have not responded to the survey asking for e-mail and snail-mail addresses, he'll do the best he can.)
Panel 1
Robo-Nicole's giant hand reaches into the ruined castle chamber and picks up Murphy.
Robo-Nicole: Hey there, cutie! Let's go to my place.
Murphy: Where did you learn to pick up women?
Panel 2
Robo-Nicole is clinging to the outer wall of the castle (via holes punched into the side), and puts the relatively tiny Murphy into an opening in the robot chest.
Robo-Nicole: You'll be safer close to my heart.
Murphy: How did you get here so quickly?
Panel 3
Robo-Nicole climbs down the castle wall. Some guards shoot at her from above, the cyber-bullets bouncing harmlessly off of her armor.
Robo-Nicole: I knew you were in trouble when you said, 'stomped any good faces lately?'
Robo-Nicole: What a stupid line.
Panel 4
Robo-Nicole trots away from the castle, casually demolishing every structure in her path.
Murphy: In my defense, I've never impersonated a guard before.
Robo-Nicole: I've never impersonated a giant robot before, but I'm having a blast.
