A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Nicole: Oh, cheer the hell up, Murphy.
Nicole: I'm only keeping you away from Seamus for a couple of hours.
Nicole: Once we leave Ganymede you'll have nine weeks to try and seduce him.

Nicole and Murphy enter the private training hall. Li is in his ghi, standing in the center of the area. A handful of others also in ghis are hanging around the far wall. Murphy gestures to them.
Murphy: You said this is a private hall?
Li: Senior students usually have the privilege of watching me work out.

Closer 3-shot on Murphy, Nicole and Li.
Li: But I can send them away if you wish ...
Nicole: It's okay, Li. Murphy, go sit and watch or nap or whatever.
