Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.
Kickstarter successful and closed [ May 19, 2026 ]
The Kickstarter campaign for Not-Safe.Space Chapter 3 concluded successfully on April 21, and Scott extended the time allowed for late pledges until May 19.
Books have been ordered from the printer and Scott will be spending the next week or so setting up and sending the PDF files to those who asked for them.
(There are still six of you who have not responded to the survey asking for e-mail and snail-mail addresses, he'll do the best he can.)

Transcript For Strip 887
Panel 1Toombs is getting to his feet when, like a lightning bolt, Murphy is standing in front of him.
Murphy: I don't like your attitude, buster.
Panel 2
Murphy punts Toombs on the chin, he goes reeling backwards again.
Murphy: Let me explain this for you.
Murphy: I've got some enhancements, and you don't.
Panel 3
But Toombs swings a leg around, catching the back of Murphy's other ankle and knocking her off her feet.
Toombs: Good. That means I don't have to hold back this time.
Panel 4
Toombs is on top of Murphy, sitting on her chest and pinning her arms. He is hammering at her face with his fists.
Toombs: Pardon me while I enhance your face.
Panel 5
Murphy's legs curve and loop around Toombs' upper torso
Murphy: With that ugly mug I can see why you'd be jealous.
Toombs: What
Panel 6
Murphy flips Toombs up and off of her, sending him flying.
Murphy: You know, you can't dance worth a flip.
Panel 7
The two combatants square off again.
Murphy: So when are you going to stop holding back?
Toombs: I don't want to beat you too quickly. I'm having fun.
Panel 8
Panel is filled with blurred shapes and impact sparks, as the two androids battle furiously.
Cristina (OP): Murphy? Do you need help?
Murphy (upload): Busy now.
