A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1Murphy and Nicole are in their guest room, getting ready for a dinner party. They are both 'dressed' in stepping-out clothes, giving each other evaluative looks.
Nicole: So, too much? Too little?
Murphy: Maybe too little. But at least you got rid of that silly jacket.
Nicole: Those damn Terries feeked-up my anysuit, so I needed the coverage.

Nicole shifts her holoclothing to show a bit less breast and leg.
Nicole: It was nice of Johanna to give me this nice, new anysuit.
Nicole: How's this?
Murphy: Better.
Murphy: She does seem to like you.
Panel 3
Nicole and Murphy.
Nicole: I sense an unvoiced 'but' there.
Murphy: It's almost as if I'm invisible to her. Is she arti-phobic?
Nicole: Naw, I don't think so.

Nicole smiles an evil smile while Murphy face-palms in contrition.
Nicole: Seamus probably told her you used to have the hots for him.
Nicole: She's not sure you don't, still.
Murphy: I'm never going to live that down, am I?
