Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.
What Comes Next [ Mar 18, 2024 ]
The war is over, but This Means War has a ways to go. Novo Paolo/Bubbleopolis is still in a nebula/stellar nursery, no one knows what happened to the planet Sharen (center of the Intergalactic Council), and the status of the now-surrendered Invaders is yet to be resolved. What will they do when they learn their homeworld is basically destroyed? Will Alyss and Li be re-united? How about Diana (the real one) and Otto?
These questions will be resolved in the next few weeks, before This Means War part 3 wraps in late May.
After that, I plan to go BACK in time about 400 years, to when Alyss and Li left their home in the Sol System to colonize a new world on the far side of the galaxy. As one might expect, hijinks ensue. New subtitle yet to be determined, start date sometime in around the start of July. Stay tuned!

Panel 1Eithne still sitting in the chair, flanked by Hugo and Murphy.
Hugo: What do you mean, your starship?
Eithne: I combined my fees from my services of two years ago ...
Murphy: Two years?

Eithne: You said you'd be back in a year. I gave you that plus 18 tendays.
Eithne: When you didn't show I started the process of fabbing your new bodies, downloading your stored memories – good thing you made back-ups right before you left.
Eithne: I'm now a fully-certified roboticist, by the way.

Two-shot of Hugo and Murphy. They know they've been out-maneuvered.
Eithne (OP): I also started building a new starship.
Eithne: But this time I've paid for all the materials, and my services restoring you this time should cover use of your facilities.
Eithne: So, it's my starship. Wanna go back to Galaxy S257163185 with me?

Hugo, Murphy and Eithne hash it out.
Hugo: All right, we can accept you as boson, but when we are underway I'm the captain.
Murphy: Actually we agreed I'd be captain on our next trip.
Eithne: No. I'm the captain.

Hugo turns abruptly to leave. Murphy starts to follow. Eithne is flummoxed.
Hugo: Out of the question. We'll build our own ship. Get this one out of my bay .
Murphy: Don't forget to gather up any of your belongings ashore.
Eithne: Whaaat?

Hugo and Murphy smile at each other knowingly as Eithne stands and sulks.
Eithne: All right, all right, I'll be the boson!
Eithne: Just promise you'll take me with you!
Hugo: What do you think, sweetie?
Murphy: I think I'm the captain.
