Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

UPDATE: There has been some strange glitch in the Kickstarter launch, so Scott is cancelling the campaign temporarily and will re-start as soon the cause of the problem can be determined and corrected.

Lauren: Yes well of course since I'm not merely the youngest, I'm the only one who inherited her status, and wasn't part of the founding …
Lauren: … I'm quite the junior 'Pillar' of this city, for whatever that's worth.

Lauren, Otto and Diana. Otto can't take his eyes off Diana, who is starting to take notice.
Lauren: But of course, you're not here to talk about me, you want to know about Hayami.
Lauren: She was pretty amazing. At once quite personable, but with a laser-beam focus on her job.

Flashback scene: Lauren is walking along a concourse with a sharp young man. Hayami is three steps behind. Lauren speaks from a cameo:
Lauren: I would take her with me on business trips – to Azuria, or Kinshu, or Ramonagar – and despite her size she was a marvel at how she could watch me like a hawk but not be noticed herself.
Panel 4
Flashback continues: Lauren is in bed with the sharp young man, making the beast with two backs. The room lighting is low but not too dark. Hayami is standing in a corner, literally blending in with the background via holography.
Caption (Lauren): 'She had this uncanny ability to blend into the background.
