Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

UPDATE: There has been some strange glitch in the Kickstarter launch, so Scott is cancelling the campaign temporarily and will re-start as soon the cause of the problem can be determined and corrected.

Panel 1Diana is still lying on the table, her eyes now closed. Monty is standing by, at the console. Wook is in the background. Alyss enters the frame.
Caption: A short while later:
Monty: I was wondering when you'd join us.
Alyss: I was reviewing her expense report ...
Alyss: Is she doing a full back-up?
Panel 2
Same shot.
Monty: Yep. She didn't take her cube with her, it was stolen.
Alyss: That's not good. They will know I'd hired her and Sr. Goméz, and under what terms.
Monty: Yes but from what I understand, she hadn't gone very far in her queries when they hit her flat.

Close two-shot on Monty and Alyss.
Alyss: Yes, in the worst case, they might know some of the early leads. But you should see what she paid that crafters club for that hyper-whozit construction! Ridiculous.
Alyss: It's like I gave a no-limit credit chip to a teenager! When the back-up is complete she needs a flash course on proper horse-trading.

Diana: To be fair, I only turned 20 four cycles ago.
Monty: Did I mention that the new back-up gluware allows the subject to remain conscious during the upload?
Alyss: No. You did not.
