Creepy moves in darkness dares discovery.
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Still in the same room, different angle. Diana, Monty, Alyss, Wook.
Caption: While Monty secured and sealed my back-up cube, Alyss proceeded to lecture me.
Alyss: You have got to get smarter about how you spend money, Diana.
Alyss: Especially when you're spending MY money.
Diana and Alyss are eyeing each other coolly.
Diana: Alyss, I've been living on my own for more than a year now, on a bare-bones salary.
Diana: I know the value of a Moebit.
Alyss: Oh? What happened to the 25 Moebits I gave you after you arrived here?
Diana lets herself off the table. Alyss is softening.
Diana: I spent one getting settled into my apartment. The rest is in savings.
Diana: Since then I was living on 800 mili-bits per cycle up until five days ago.
Alyss: What happened then?
Diana smiles slyly at Alyss, who returns the sentiment.
Diana: You hired Juan and me. I negotiated a much better salary from Juan.
Alyss: You really have acclimated to Oz, haven't you?
Diana: I'm still working on my Portanglish. What does 'avarento' mean?
