Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1Alyss is standing by the doors to a hopper, looking like she's on her last nerve. Diana and Wook are striding up the hallway towards her.
Caption: Monty told me where Alyss had likely gone and then went about some other business.
It didn't take long to catch up with her.

Diana and Wook come to a stop next to Alyss, breaking her focus.
Diana: So, who is this 'Dommi?'
Alyss: Oh! Dominic Martelo, my great-times-four grandson.
Alyss: He's the lead engineer in my Shield business.

Diana and Alyss. Alyss still looks rattled.
Diana: As in, the Oresme Shield?
Diana: So, there is a connection between that hyper-cubexahedron and the Junction Matrices?
Alyss: You could say that, but it's more fundamental.

Now Diana also looks rattled. Wook, in the background, as well.
Alyss: I'm counting on your professional ethics to keep this confidential ...
Alyss: … But if Monty's observations bear out, the city – hell, our entire civilization -- could be in grave danger.
