Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Strip 243
Panel 1
Alyss is waving good-bye to Diana as she heads towards the door. Gorveth is already gone, and Otto remains, smiling sweetly.
Caption: The doctor checked my vitals and decided I was healing well enough, so she left.
Caption: Then Alyss, who was now satisfied that I'd be okay, took her leave.
Caption: This left me with Otto.
Panel 2
Flashback-shot, Otto is creeping around outside the shop where Carmen is leading Diana and Wook.
Caption: So it was up to Otto to explain what had happened.
Caption: Turned out he was still stalking me, and saw Carmen lead me and Wook into that boutique.
Caption: If Wook noticed him, she didn't say anything.
Panel 3
Medium shot of Otto wandering through those back-room corridors.
Caption: When Carmen was 'captured,' he tried to follow us into the back-room area but got lost in the maze of corridors.
Caption: He said he wandered around for an hour, but I know it couldn't have been more than 20 minutes or so ...
Panel 4
Another shot of Otto peering around a corner, and recoiling in horror to the violence he's witnessing. A bit of blood spatter in the air.
Caption: … because he witnessed my final confrontation with Pauline Kempadoo.
Kempadoo (OP): SHRIEEEEEEEK!!!
SFX: ZZZEEEROWWW
Caption: I regret that he saw that.
