Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1In the lounge, Nicole has moved to a sofa section, and is surrounded by young adults, mostly male. Two of the males are dressed like Barsoomian warriors, the rest are in contemporary attire. They are all drinking, and one of the males is regaling the group with a joke.
Male 1: … and the Beltape replied, 'If ha push tat nozzle any deeper yar gonna find anotter met'ane source!'
Group: (laughter)
Panel 2
Another fellow begins to tell another story but is interrupted by one of the females, pointing out of panel.
Male 2: So did you hear the one about …
Female 1: Hey, look!
Panel 3
Looking at a video screen hung high in a corner. It's showing an advertisement for the Guzmán Burro sport-utility space-hopper. Featuring a cameo shot of Nicole, who is endorsing the product. We see some of the backs of the sofa gang's heads, including Nicole's.
Male 3: Oh, for real?
Panel 4
The sofa gang, now star-struck, crowds in on Nicole like zombies wanting to eat her brain. Nicole, feeling as trapped as she looks, grins nervously.
Male 2: You're the Nicole Oresme, the famous girl-Sun-Shooter?
Female 2: That is so exciting!
Male 3: Can I get your autograph?
Male 4: Will you have my baby?
Nicole: Err ...
