Dark plans fall like thunderbolts.
Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 2
Bok and Jerome are strolling along a pedestrian causeway. Bok gazes at a particularly lush strand of flora.
Bok: Not a bad place to stake-out this Emissary from the Intergalactic Council.
Jerome: That's assuming our sources were correct.
Jerome: We could be wasting our time.
Panel 3
The enter one of the buildings.
Bok: You said yourself this was a likely locale.
Bok: I know where there's a nice little bar near the main hall where we can wait.
Jerome: We'd better not miss him when he shows up.
Panel 4
A small phalanx of uniformed men marches up a hallway (one similar to the hallway Alyss marched up earlier), an egg-shape on a silvery conveyance rolling up behind them.
One of the men: Make way, citizens! Secure Passage is guaranteed.
A passer-by: Uh... thanks?
