Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

UPDATE: There has been some strange glitch in the Kickstarter launch, so Scott is cancelling the campaign temporarily and will re-start as soon the cause of the problem can be determined and corrected.

Transcript For Strip 2189
Panel 1The Pillars and 'Nancy' have arrived at the other side of the portal. The space is low-light. Here we just see the characters standing in front of the portal and looking around. The portal is flanked by small statues of cherubim on pedestals, as a hint of what's to come.
Enrique: Is this supposed to be the Ambassador's office?
Lorelei: Looks more like some kind of art museum.
Panel 2
Reversing view, Mordy appears, walking towards them from several meters away. We get a good look at the room festooned with statuettes, chandeliers, paintings with ornate frames, vases, and other decorations. Another figure can be seen in shadow behind him.
Mordy: My friends! Welcome to my ambassadorial parlor.

Cut back to view the Pillars, exchanging side-eyes while Alyss speaks for the group
Alyss: A parlor? Well, it's certainly not what I expected.
Alyss: Anyway you don't look much like a spider, so I guess …

Cutting back again, we see Mordy's 'secretary' is a tall, male, very athletic 'spyder.' We can see a bit of Alyss' head from behind in foreground right
Alyss: Ah … my mistake.
Mordy: Ah yes, this is my secretary, Miles Stacey.
